Ihr kennt und liebt sie vermutlich alle. Die Pixar-Filme wie Toy Story, Wall-E und Monster AG sind beliebt bei Alt und Jung. Seit letzter Woche geistert im Netz eine Theorie herum, wonach alle Filme von Merida, über Wall-E bis zu Cars in einem gemeinsamen Film-Universum spielen und miteinander verbunden sind.

Dass bestimmte Elemente wie der “Pizza Planet”-Truck oder der gelb-rote Pixar-Ball in (fast) allen Filmen vorkommen war mir bekannt, dass das einen tieferen Sinn haben könnte, hat Jon Negroni in mühevoller Recherche herausgefunden. Auf seiner Seite schreibt er:

Every Pixar movie is connected. I explain how, and possibly why. Several months ago, I watched a fun-filled video on Cracked.com that introduced the idea (at least to me) that all of the Pixar movies actually exist within the same universe. Since then, I’ve obsessed over this concept, working to complete what I call “The Pixar Theory,” a working narrative that ties all of the Pixar movies into one cohesive timeline with a main theme. This theory covers every Pixar production since Toy Story. 

Der Blog-Eintrag macht nun seit Tagen die Runde und ist teilweise wirklich plausibel. Hat Pixar wirklich einen Masterplan im Hinterkopf?
